F-1国际学生签证就业指南
F-1 visa holders are only eligible to work on campus for up to 20 hours per week while school is in session.
F-1 visa holders at Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C®) are not allowed to work off campus without prior authorization from their international student advisor. Eligibility for off-campus employment is limited to 课程实践训练(CPT) or post-completion 选择性实习训练(选择).
The most important employment issue for an F-1 visa holder to consider is legal (authorized) versus illegal (unauthorized) employment. Make sure you have the necessary employment authorization before you begin work. 未经批准擅自开工, 即使您稍后收到授权, 构成非法雇佣. Contact your international student advisor with questions concerning your eligibility or category of employment.
